
On the morning of June 11th, 2024, at Vinh Loc 2 Industrial Zone, Ben Luc District, Long An Province, Marine Biotech Vietnam Company Limited held the inauguration ceremony of Aquaproducts’ Ben Luc – Long An Factory.
Attending the inauguration ceremony were Deputy Director of the Department of Planning and Investment of Long An Province - Mr. Tran Van Tuoi; Secretary of Ben Luc District Party Committee - Nguyen Dang Minh Xuan; Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee. On the side of the Company, there were General Director of Aquaproducts - Marine Biotech Vietnam - Mr. François Dupuis, Sales and CEO of Aquaproducts - Mr. Thomas Levallois and leaders and employees of Transimex Joint Stock Company, the company's business partner - Mr. Marc Le Poul.

- Economic growth rate reached about 4.83%. Despite the impact of drought and salinity, agricultural production still developed stably; Industrial production increased by 5.33%; total retail sales and consumption increased by 21.77% over the same period.
- The number of newly established enterprises was 912 (up 34%) with a total capital of VND 7,930 billion (up 34% over the same period). Up to now, Long An province currently has over 18,000 registered enterprises, with a total registered capital of over VND 379,000 billion.
- Attracting 44 more FDI projects (up 12 projects), with a total newly granted investment capital of over 226 million USD. Up to now, Long An province currently has over 1,300 projects, with a total registered capital of over 11.2 billion USD.
- Long An currently has 26 industrial parks eligible to receive investment, with an industrial land area of 2,897 hectares leased, the occupancy rate reaching 67.72%. The remaining clean land area ready for lease in the industrial parks is 650 hectares.
- In addition, Long An also has 17 industrial clusters in operation, attracting 646 projects with a total leased land area of 603.14 hectares; the occupancy rate of industrial clusters in operation is over 83%.
- Total state budget revenue by June 7, 2024 reached over 13,000 billion VND, reaching 61.07% of the provincial estimate.
- Cultural and social activities continue to have many innovations and achieve many outstanding results, contributing to the good implementation of the Party's policy on economic development in parallel with social progress and equality. National defense and security are maintained, political security and social order are ensured.
- The above achievements are the result of the joint efforts of the entire political system, including the great contribution of the business community in the province.

Today's inauguration ceremony is not only the opening of a new enterprise but also contributes to bringing the province's industry towards the trend of "green industry" where we invest in high technology, convert by-products into valuable products and focus on protecting the natural and social environment.
This new factory represents years of planning, innovation, and dedication. It will not only create hundreds of jobs but also contributes to the development of the local economy and participate actively in the promotion of locally made high quality ingredients.
This state-of-the-art facility is equipped with the latest technology and designed with sustainability in mind. From automated production lines to green energy solutions, we have incorporated cutting-edge innovations to ensure efficiency and environmental responsibility. This site has been built with high standards in mind including innovative drying technology, a zero-waste policy, commitment to water recycling, a state-of-the-art odor treatment as well as a full-fledged waste-water facility.
On the other hand, we manufacture functional peptides extracted from the waste basket, providing sustainable source of alternative proteins for the overall feed industry and help reduce its dependency on imported ingredients, strengthens regional supply chains and drives new market opportunities.
Our ambition is to produce 10,000 t of powder and upcycle more than 50,000 t of seafood waste per year. To meet those objectives, we selected this site of 2,500 m2 of space with future scalability in mind and strategically located in Long Anh province in proximity of raw materials sourcing, clients and close to the main exportation ports.
